Sultry afternoons

A typical scene during the hot sultry summer in Chennai. Most of the shops along the roads have blinds at the outside of their shops to keep the beating sun away. With temperatures floating between 35-38 degrees during the afternoons, everyone is doing anything they can to cool themselves off.
